Skills and knowledge that the student will acquire during practice: 

  • Understanding about IoT devices and Artificial Intelligence with Toshiba Solutions.
  • Technical skills over Toshiba hardware products (installation, configuration, operation)
  • Basic knowledge about Operative Systems and Software solutions for Point of Sale
  • Pre-sales skills preparing Configurations and Demos for showroom, events, customer meetings, etc.
  • Inventory management for Demo equipment
  • Relationship with different people in the TGCS organization chart, and direct contact with
    the Sales Team
  • Communication with different levels of the organization chart of a Customers and BPs
  • Knowledge of the retail market.

It is expected that at the end of their internship the student will be able to: 

  • Install, configure, operate TGCS HW products.
  • Basics to install and operate TGCS IoT and SW products.
  • Concepts of AI applied to the retail industry.
    • Learn the TGCS tools to find information.
    • Methodology to manage hardware inventory.
  • Know the sales ecosystem of a HW and SW technology manufacturer.
  • Development of pre-sales skills.

Job requirements: 

  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Knowledge in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced English.
  • Recently graduated or in the last semesters of a Computer / Systems Engineering career or related.

Location: Mexico City. 

Schedule specifications:
