Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.
• Engage in collaborative development of pre-crisis and crisis management plans, including behavioral guidelines and medication treatment plans.
• Complete all necessary documentation promptly, adhering to regulatory standards and ensuring compliance with ethical obligations.
• Employ evidence-based screening tools as recommended by the clinical team to provide accurate diagnoses and appropriate interventions.
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans that align with each client’s unique goals.
• Participate actively in licensing and accreditation processes, contributing to the continuous improvement of our programs and services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse population across various demographics, addressing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and social adjustment issues. Our clients may also include individuals in recovery from substance use disorders and those facing developmental disabilities. The ability to cultivate trust and rapport quickly is essential, as you will guide clients through their therapeutic journeys to foster resilience and personal growth.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field.
• Completion of a full-time clinical internship in a recognized mental health setting.
• Eligibility for licensure in the State of Florida.
• A valid driver's license in good standing to facilitate any required travel for client engagement.
• Exceptional communication skills to establish trust and rapport with clients and families.
• Strong listening abilities combined with empathy to provide guidance and emotional support.
• Meticulous attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills to manage case notes and treatment documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a clinical setting focused on individual or group therapy.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapeutic practices, enhancing client access and engagement.
• Knowledge of relevant community resources to better connect clients with additional support services as needed.

Compensation and Benefits
