Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight of daily IONM operations across all service lines (adult and pediatric)
- Supervise, mentor, and develop IONM Specialist staff, ensuring high performance and clinical competency
- Collaborate with the Medical Director and leadership to achieve clinical quality, operational, and financial goals
- Ensure compliance with ABRET IONM Lab accreditation standards and regulatory requirements
- Support staffing models, scheduling, and 24/7 operational coverage
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and procedural efficiency
- Participate in and support neurophysiologic monitoring procedures as needed using advanced electronic equipment
- Ensure appropriate physician availability or support during all procedures
Additional Job Description
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in neurophysiology or IONM
- At least 3 years of leadership or management experience
- Certifications:
- CNIM (Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring) required
- Certification in one or more neurodiagnostic registries (e.g., EEG, R. EP T., R. NCS T.) or relevant Bachelor's degree
- Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross equivalent)
