Job Title: Mobile Developer (Ionic Framework)

Duration: 6 Months Contract-to-Hire (CTH)

Location: Onsite Jersey City, NJ

Possibility of full-time conversion based on performance.

 

Job Summary

 

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Developer with strong experience in the Ionic framework to join our team on a 6-month Contract-to-Hire basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and user experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Develop and maintain mobile applications using Ionic Framework and Angular.  

Build cross-platform applications for iOS and Android using Cordova/Capacitor.  

Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and intuitive interfaces.

Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.

Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.

Debug and resolve technical issues and bugs.

Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices.

Work closely with backend and QA teams for seamless delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

 

3+ years of experience in mobile application development.

Strong hands-on experience with Ionic (v4+).

Proficiency in Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript.

Experience with Cordova or Capacitor plugins.

Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON.

Experience in deploying apps to Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications

 

Experience with native mobile development (Swift, Kotlin) is a plus.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience with state management libraries (NgRx, etc.).

Understanding of mobile security best practices.
