Role and Responsibilities
The Member Education Associate will play a critical role in guiding our members through the open enrollment process. The Member Education Associate is responsible for, creating content and conducting member educational open enrollment meetings. This position requires extensive travel to various locations to conduct informational meetings, answer questions, and assist members with their enrollment choices. Travel will be extensive and up to 60% during September - February. The ideal candidate will be an excellent public speaker, proficient in creating and delivering presentations, and comfortable presenting to diverse audiences.
• Obtain approval of and deliver engaging presentations to explain health insurance options and benefits.
• Travel to client locations as needed.
• Conduct open enrollment meetings with our clients’ members both onsite and virtually.
• Answer member questions and provide clear, accurate information about plan options.
• Assist members with the enrollment process and ensure they understand their choices.
• Travel extensively to meet with members in different regions.
• Provide follow-up to questions posed during open enrollment meetings to members as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to stay updated on plan changes and updates.
• Collaborate to design Effective Member Communications that improve member NPS and brand perception.
• Other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Proven experience running open enrollment meetings is highly desirable.
• Proficient in Spanish, both writing and speaking, preferred
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and other presentation tools.
• Ability to travel extensively and work independently.
• Ability to communicate complex material (like health insurance) into easy-to-understand messages.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Travel Required: up to 60%
