Job description

Cambridge Dental Group is a growing, multi specialty private practice in Tom’s River looking for a Dental Assistant. You'll learn how a high-end dental office runs from the inside out — and for the right person, this role is a real entry point into a career in dentistry, with room to grow.
This role will give you the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of a modern dental practice and grow from there.
What you get:
  • Competitive hourly pay.
  • Subsidized health insurance.
  • Paid holidays and vacation time ( at least 3 weeks a year).
  • Monday through Thursday, 8:30-6:30, Friday 8:30-1:30— your evenings and weekends are yours.
  • A modern, well-equipped office with a team that actually likes working together.
  • Hands-on training and a genuine path forward in dentistry.

What you'll be doing:
  • You'll keep the office moving.
  • Staff and patient safety is our utmost concern.
  • ou'll keep every treatment room stocked, disinfected, and ready for the next patient.
  • You'll help get patients seated and ready for treatment.
  • Cleaning, packaging, and sterilizing dental instruments.
  • Breaking down and setting up treatment rooms between patients.
  • Stocking operatories with supplies and materials.
  • Managing sterilization inventory and flagging supply needs.
  •  sharps disposal.
  • Assist general dentist and specialists in all aspects of dentistry.
  • Take periapical, panoramic or CBCT x-rays as needed.

What we're looking for:
  • Reliable and punctual — if you're not here, the entire team feels it.
  • Detail-oriented — assisting and sterilization means doing it right every time, not just getting through a list.
  • Someone who wants to understand why things are done a certain way, not just follow steps.

 Required:
  • NJ dental X-ray license.

About us:
Cambridge Dental Group is a high-end family practice that provides every phase of dental care in one place. The team is tight-knit, supportive, and drama-free. We invest in good equipment, good people, and doing good work.
