Description
Bilingual Dental Assistant (Foreign-Trained Dentist Preferred)
$30-$40 per hour Full-Time Grand Junction, CO
This is not an entry-level dental assisting position.
We are hiring a foreign-trained dentist who wants to stay clinically engaged while preparing for U.S. licensure.
Advanced procedures. High expectations. Serious growth.
Ruby Canyon Dental is a comprehensive, implant-focused, digitally driven practice seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Dental Assistant, ideally a dentist trained outside the United States, who wants to operate at a high clinical level while building a long-term future in American dentistry.
If you are preparing for U.S. boards and do not want to lose clinical momentum, this is an ideal position.
Why This Role Is Different
This is not a "pass instruments and suction" position.
You will work inside a modern, surgical, high-performance practice that performs advanced procedures in-house daily.
We rarely refer cases out.
We expect excellence - and we create opportunity for those who deliver it.
Procedures We Perform In-House
  • Same-day crowns (CAD/CAM digital workflow)
  • Intraoral digital scanning
  • Implant surgical guides & implant placement
  • Custom abutments (Neodent & Blue Sky Bio systems)
  • IV moderate sedation
  • Complex restorative dentistry
  • Full & partial dentures
  • Invisalign orthodontics
  • Comprehensive treatment planning

Clinical Responsibilities (Within Colorado Scope)
Colorado allows expanded-function assistants to place restorations - and you will utilize that skill here.
Responsibilities may include:
  • Placement and finishing of restorative materials
  • Assisting with surgical implant procedures
  • Digital scanning and CAD/CAM workflow support
  • Invisalign workflow support
  • Denture case coordination and oversight
  • Assisting in IV sedation cases
  • Supporting comprehensive case planning
  • Spanish communication and translation when needed

You will function as a true clinical extension of the doctor.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Dentist trained outside the United States (preferred)
  • Planning to pursue U.S. licensure
  • Bilingual: English & Spanish
  • Strong restorative competency
  • Implant exposure is a plus
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
  • Professional, mature, and coachable
  • High personal standards
  • Serious about long-term growth in dentistry

If you are looking for an easy job, this is not it.
If you want to grow inside an elite clinical environment, we want to meet you.
Why This Is an Ideal Licensure-Preparation Position
If you are preparing for U.S. boards:
  • Stay clinically sharp while studying
  • Gain exposure to American dental workflows
  • Work with implants, digital systems, and Invisalign
  • Build professional references
  • Earn strong compensation while preparing for exams

This position allows you to remain active in dentistry while positioning yourself for long-term success.
Compensation
