How much money do dentists make off Invisalign?

Invisalign dentists typically earn additional income through patient fees for aligner treatments, which can range from $3,000 to $8,000 or more per case. The overall earnings depend on the number of cases they treat, their location, and their experience with Invisalign procedures, often supplementing their general dental practice income.

What is the 30 minute rule with Invisalign?

The 30-minute rule for Invisalign dentists refers to the guideline that patients should wear their aligners for at least 20 to 22 hours daily, removing them only for eating, drinking, and cleaning. If a patient is unable to wear the aligners for at least 20 hours within a 24-hour period, treatment progress may be delayed, and adjustments might be necessary. Consistent wear is essential for effective and timely results in Invisalign treatment.
