This is a rare opportunity in Utah to gain practical experience with an institutional investment portfolio. The School and Institutional Trust Funds Office (SITFO) was created in 2015 to manage state trust land revenues and the existing portfolio of approximately 4.6 billion. Portfolio asset allocation includes exposure to public and private markets, domestic and global, and other risk-diversifying strategies.

The Analyst Intern will work closely with SITFO staff to assist in a variety of investment-related activities. The Analyst Intern will have the opportunity to gain exposure to multiple aspects of an institutional investment entity and industry-standard software platforms.

SITFO typically prefers 1-year commitments from successful candidates
The intern is expected to work 20-29 hours per week
This is a paid position, 22/hour

Examples of Duties:
Assist in building and maintaining economic, investment, and portfolio reports and models
Conduct analysis for manager research in support of recommendations
Additional one-off projects consistent with SITFO's mission
