The Regional Marketing Manager will play a key role in shaping the future of experiential retail by partnering in the growth and execution of the strategic marketing plan for Federal Realty’s Florida portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, this role will drive strategy, support business development initiatives, and lead programs and promotions that strengthen brand awareness, increase traffic, and deepen customer engagement. The position also supports unique events and activations across a dynamic portfolio of assets.

This is a high-impact role with strong visibility, offering the opportunity to own and influence marketing strategy for marquee, community-driven destinations. The Regional Marketing Manager will help build community and shape how people experience some of Florida’s most vibrant retail environments.

The role provides diverse exposure across a dynamic commercial real estate firm, engaging with retail, office, and residential components while working across both B2C and B2B audiences. The Regional Marketing Manager will contribute to award-winning properties, including CocoWalk (Coconut Grove, Florida) and The Shops at Pembroke Gardens (Pembroke Pines, Florida), interfacing with both tenants and customers. This position partners with locally owned businesses as well as nationally recognized brands, creating meaningful connections that enhance each destination.

Based equally between CocoWalk and The Shops at Pembroke Gardens, the role offers flexibility to adjust schedules around on-site events, along with the ability to work from home one day per week while supporting broader portfolio marketing needs.

  • Manage aspects of the strategic road map, including key signature events and activations, budget management and campaigns.
  • Lead B2C planning and communications via a comprehensive editorial calendar, in partnership with the internal and external agency.
  • Lead unique and first to market on-site event and activation opportunities, including ideation, planning and execution, with team and agency support.
  • Responsible to meet and exceed metrics developed to measure KPIs including but not limited to building brand awareness, increasing traffic, driving customer engagement.
  • Strengthen B2B communication with merchants and outside partners via in-person, phone, mail, e-mail, etc., that develops and maintains a synergy of goals and expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business development goals and opportunities and generate innovative ideas to engage key audiences.
  • Develop marketing collateral utilizing existing project and corporate branding to support strategic business goals.
  • Manage communication with internal graphic designer and agency partners to maintain workflow, timelines and standards.
  • Perform administrative duties as needed including but not limited to invoice research, check request submission, special mailings, collateral distribution and customer engagement.
  • Track monthly marketing expenses and variances of the marketing budget.
  • Provide onsite leadership for special events.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years marketing/business development experience
  • Ability to effectively interact with internal and external team members and contacts
  • A self-starter, who can handle multiple projects from conception to completion
  • A creative thinker, with strategic and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multi-task management skills
  • Proficient in SharePoint, MailChimp, EventBrite and WordPress. Adobe InDesign, Canva and Google Docs are a plus
  • Ability to lift and move materials (up to 25 pounds) and assist with event setup, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Flexibility and ability to work nights and weekends is required when marketing events and/or meetings require preparation or attendance
