Job description

Position Summary

Eton Advisors is a Multi-Family Office dedicated to providing discerning, ultra-high net-worth clients with sophisticated wealth management and family office services. Our commitment is a customized approach designed to meet the needs, exceed the expectations and help achieve the dreams of every family we serve.  We aspire to become a focal point for the client's financial and operational affairs, integrating all aspects - investments, education, retirement planning, estate planning, tax optimization, and supporting disciplines - into congruency.

Eton Advisors is looking for an Investment Operations Analyst to assist in compiling, organizing, and interpreting a broad range of investment-related data and research to support ongoing investment decision-making, investment implementation/execution, portfolio reporting, and client communications. 

This is a full-time in-person position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Primary Responsibilities

The Investment Analyst will be responsible for the following functions and processes:

  • Assist with various investment-related and client-related activities
    • Quarterly reporting processes
    • Portfolio trading activities
    • Researching client questions regarding specific existing or prospective investments
    • Client and prospective client meeting presentations
    • Monitor data reconciliation with outsourced back-office firm
    • Process investment-related bill pay transactions and ensure proper recording for performance purposes
  • Develop, maintain and distribute data, analyses, and reports on a regular and timely basis
  • Assist with the investment implementation for Eton's pooled funds
  • Assist with manager due diligence
  • Utilize available tools and data sets to regularly supply investment data and information to key internal constituencies
  • Provide assistance and support as needed periodically in various investment-related and client-related activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with financial experience required
  • 2+ years of industry experience
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong commitment to service excellence and the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, loyalty, honesty, and business ethics
  • Ability to work in a highly confidential, low-profile environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Understanding of accounting processes, procedure and internal controls
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)

This position is a non-exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $65,000-$75,000 base salary compensation range. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k). Please note that the job title is subject to change based on the selected candidate's experience and education.
