Since its inception, Peachtree has acquired, developed, or originated more than $15 billion of hotel properties and first mortgage notes.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and support the implementation of Yardi Investment Accounting, Investment Manager and Debt Accounting modules for our private equity and private credit platform. This role will be responsible for transitioning Fund Accounting from the current se-up of third-party admins using their external accounting systems to Peachtree's internal Yardi platform in collaboration with an external implementation partner. This would involve handling data migration, creating configurations and mappings, integrating Yardi with other internal systems, writing rollup and cascade rules, and report writing and configurations.
Following a 2-year implementation process, the individual will transition into a Yardi Systems Administrator role, responsible for ongoing system governance, user access, workflow management, and reporting. This role will serve as the primary liaison between Accounting, Operations, and IT to ensure the Yardi platform operates efficiently and continues to meet evolving business requirements.
Duties and Functions:
Yardi Implementation:
  • Lead and support end-to-end implementation of Yardi Investment Accounting, Investment Manager and Debt Accounting modules
  • Partner with Accounting, Operations, and IT teams to gather and translate business requirements into system configurations in coordination with external implementation partner
  • Set up entity mappings, org. charts, waterfalls and workflows in Yardi to support fund structures, investment lifecycles, and debt instruments
  • Oversee data migration, reconciliation, and validation from legacy systems
  • Design and execute testing strategies (UAT, system integration testing)
  • Develop system documentation, including configuration details, workflows, and control processes
  • Train end users and provide go-live and post-go-live support

Post-Implementation / Yardi Administration:
  • Serve as the primary Yardi system administrator and subject matter expert
  • Maintain system configurations, workflows, and business rules
  • Develop and support standard and custom reports for Accounting and management
  • Provide ongoing system support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Coordinate with internal teams and Yardi support for enhancements, updates, and maintenance

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Deep expertise in implementing and administering Yardi Investment Accounting and preferably Investment Manager and Debt Accounting modules
  • Strong understanding of private equity and/or private credit structures and accounting workflows
  • Proven experience in custom reporting, setting up rollup and cascade rules, establishing integrations with internal and external systems, workflow configurations, and system administration.
  • Experience with full lifecycle system implementations (requirements, configuration, testing, deployment)
  • Experience in using or implementing Anaplan along with Yardi is a significant advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to translate business needs into system solutions and configurations
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
  • Understanding of internal controls, audit processes, and data governance best practices

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or other relevant certification is a plus)
  • 7-12 years of relevant experience, including hands-on Yardi implementation experience
  • Demonstrated experience implementing Yardi for private equity and/or private credit firms including setting up custom reporting, rollup and cascade rules, systems integrations and workflow configurations.
  • Prior experience as Yardi implementation lead, Yardi transition manager, Yardi system administrator, systems analyst, or similar role preferred
  • Experience in using or implementing Anaplan along with Yardi is a plus
