This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of one of Amcor's most strategically important packaging platforms.
As a Manufacturing Network Strategy Manager - Rigid Extrusion & Thermoforming, you will lead the development and execution of platform strategy across a network of manufacturing sites, technologies, and business segments. This role sits at the intersection of operations, engineering, R&D, marketing, and commercial leadership, connecting long-term market trends with the investments, capabilities, and technologies required to win.
The rigid platform is undergoing significant transformation driven by sustainability, material transitions, recycled content integration, manufacturing modernization, and evolving customer requirements. This role will play a central leadership position in defining how those changes are executed across the business.
The successful candidate will help shape platform strategy, guide major investment decisions, influence technology roadmaps, and lead cross-functional initiatives that support profitable growth across a multi-hundred-million-dollar business.
This role combines elements of operations, engineering, strategy, capital planning, and business leadership. Success requires the ability to connect long-term market and technology trends with practical execution across the manufacturing network.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Platform Strategy & Transformation
  • Develop and lead the long-term strategy for Amcor's rigid extrusion and thermoforming platform
  • Identify and prioritize capability, capacity, technology, and operational investments required to support future growth
  • Lead multi-generation platform roadmaps addressing sustainability, recycled content, material transitions, manufacturing technology, and productivity improvements
  • Partner with executive leadership to define strategic priorities and investment direction

Growth & Business Leadership
  • Drive profitable growth by aligning platform capabilities with customer, market, and business needs
  • Provide strategic guidance on customer opportunities, network capacity, and manufacturing capabilities

Capital & Network Optimization
