Cloud Capital is a global investment management firm founded by Hossein Fateh, the Founder and CEO of CloudHQ LLC and Co-founder and former CEO of DuPont Fabros Technology (DFT). The firm was established to identify and capitalize on acquisitions of high-quality data centers across the globe. Led by a team of highly experienced investment professionals and supported by CloudHQ, Cloud Capital will acquire, manage, develop and operate data centers to become the long-term owner and operator of choice for tenants globally.


What the Role Entails

• Assisting with the preparation and evaluation of investment proposals, including Investment Committee papers

• Assisting/leading with transaction due diligence and execution, including leading workstreams and building and/or reviewing financial models, as required

• Leading market and sector research and analysis, and provide updates on any insights or developments

• Collaborating with senior investment professionals in originating, evaluating and analysing new investment opportunities

• Assisting the group with managing and monitoring existing investments, and identifying and implementing new initiatives as part of the group’s asset management plan

• Working with existing portfolio companies to assist in the execution of their respective business plans from the point of initial investment to exit

• Managing and maintaining relationships within the industry, including investment banks, fund managers, independent valuers, consultants, and peer institutional investors


Requirements:

What You Bring to the Role

• 2-4 years of relevant sector experience in Private Equity or M&A Advisory from a leading investment bank

• Possess a demonstrated track record of relevant deal flow execution

• Strong quantitative/numerical skills – advanced financial and operational modelling skills

• Independent and entrepreneurial character with high commercial acumen and a ‘returns’ driven mindset

• Excellent written/presentation and oral communication skills

• Able to work effectively and collaboratively with different members of the team

• Strong academic track record, including a Bachelor’s degree covering Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or another quantitative subject
