Job description

Castle Park Investments is seeking a tech-driven analyst to join our data and technology team, reporting directly to Kutay Gozalan, VP of Data & Technology. This role is ideal for a current student, recent graduate, or early-career professional passionate about transforming real estate operations through data analytics and artificial intelligence.
We are open to candidates at various stages-whether you're a senior undergraduate, a graduate student, or a recent graduate ready to hit the ground running. For current students, we're looking for someone with a manageable course load who can commit approximately 20 hours per week (with some flexibility). For those who perform well, this internship is designed to convert into a full-time position.
You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our portfolio-wide KPI tracking, building machine learning pipelines, and leading the integration of AI tools to optimize processes across our 4,500+ unit portfolio spanning manufactured housing communities, RV resorts, and campgrounds in 9 states.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create data collection pipelines from property management systems into our cloud-hosted storage environment.
• Identify, pilot, and implement AI-powered tools to automate workflows in marketing, leasing, maintenance, and investor reporting. Be the internal champion for AI adoption across all departments.
• Build internal business intelligence tools, including automated Excel reports using SQL queries and custom live dashboards deployed through AWS CloudFront, leveraging AI-assisted coding tools.
• Deploy automated machine learning pipelines, supported by AI tools, to interpret and summarize data, surface trends, and enhance decision-making.
• Partner with operations, acquisitions, and investor relations teams to translate data insights into actionable business decisions.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Current senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree, graduate student, or recent graduate in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science or Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• For current students: ability to commit approximately 20 hours per week (flexible based on course load and availability).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Foundational experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Google Looker, or similar.
• Strong SQL and Python skills, including experience with API integrations and data analytics libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Passion for AI and emerging technologies with a track record of self-driven learning and experimentation.
• Strong communication skills-ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-starter mentality; thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Basic JavaScript knowledge and experience with front-end web development, ideally using Node.js.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code to build BI tools or other applications.
• Familiarity with cloud computing, preferably on AWS.
• Experience working in IDEs like Visual Studio Code.
