Title: Inventory Controller / Inventory Assistant – Supply Chain | Warehouse Inventory | Shipping & Receiving | Lab Inventory Operations

Location: Onsite – Knoxville, TN

Duration: Contract – 12 Months

Inventory Controller responsible for inventory management, shipping & receiving, material handling, and supply chain operations within a laboratory environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Execute shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, supplies, specimens, and equipment in a lab environment

  • Perform inventory control, inventory tracking, stock organization, and material distribution to ensure accurate inventory management

  • Receive, unpack, and reconcile incoming shipments; maintain accurate inventory logs and shipping records

  • Prepare outbound shipments and manage shipping documentation for materials and specimens

  • Troubleshoot shipment delays, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate resolution for inbound and outbound logistics

  • Perform administrative support using computer systems, applications, and tracking tools for inventory and logistics operations

  • Maintain storage areas, inspect inventory, and ensure inventory accuracy, accountability, and security

  • Follow SOPs, EHS policies, and safety procedures including PPE usage and biohazard material handling

  • Support facility maintenance tasks including laboratory upkeep, grounds, and operational support

  • Maintain compliance with company policies, documentation standards, and confidentiality requirements
