Overview
Up North Plastics is currently seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our Shipping department. Up North Plastics produces several lines of polyethylene products including high quality trash bags, construction films, and geomembrane liners. Up North Plastics is also the most technologically advanced and largest recycler and compounder of polyethylene in the world.
*** Starting Pay: $18.00***
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
  • Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, and accurately document information.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Basic math skills are needed
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Strong communication and reading skills.
  • Need to count correctly and accurately.

Responsibilities
Inventory Control Specialists at Up North Plastics need to accurately monitor, and store inventory and resolve discrepancies in inventories using provided resources. Computer. Inventory Control Specialists will be responsible for processing orders and all associated documents, transfer orders, staging of material, return of material and performing cycle counts in a timely manner to ensure timely and accurate accounting of materials. Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods. Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures. If necessary, adjust the errors in the system. Iventory Control Specialists will also be cross trained into other shipping duties which consist of operating forklift, picking orders, and loading trailers.
