Position Summary

As the Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics Optimization within Nestlé IT & Digital, you'll lead a team of experts who design, optimize, and plan Nestlé USA's supply chain network. This role sits at the intersection of technical depth and business influence, where you'll turn complex analytical outcomes into strategic recommendations for senior leaders while building and developing a high-performing team that's redefining how Nestlé USA approaches optimization.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of optimization experts supporting Strategic Network Design, Inventory Optimization, and Network Planning, while championing best practices and training across Nestlé's global optimization community
  • Guide the team in translating business needs into analytical models that drive continuous improvement within Supply Chain and Manufacturing planning and operations
  • Influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders by turning analytical results into clear, compelling narratives and recommendations that drive business decisions
  • Track and influence KPI’s that impact inventory and network performance, with a strong understanding of network flows, manufacturing, and operational drivers
  • Manage relationships with key vendors and optimization platforms, making informed decisions around tool strategy, renewals, and adoption
  • Accelerate the adoption of AI capabilities across the team, leveraging AI for faster model development, scenario modeling, and building interactive solutions that expand analytics beyond traditional processes
  • Run the intake process of optimization projects, prioritize work, establish resource requirements, and maintain a pipeline of potential optimization engagements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, operations research, business, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in applying mathematical optimization techniques to solve business problems

  • Master's or PhD in engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, operations research, business, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in supply chain optimization, including areas such as network design, inventory planning, or manufacturing operations, is preferred
  • Experience working within complex, global organizations, with knowledge of optimization engines and programming languages

The approximate pay range for this position is $130,000 to $190,000 per year. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
