POSITION SUMMARY:
The Inventory Analyst II will play a critical role in managing and optimizing complex inventory systems to ensure product availability across multiple locations while minimizing costs and avoiding excess inventory. This advanced position requires a deeper understanding of inventory control, stronger data analysis capabilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The Replenishment Analyst II will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead process improvements, and mentor junior team members.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Advanced Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels across multiple channels, ensuring accurate and timely replenishment while optimizing stock levels.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in replenishment processes, leveraging best practices and analytics to streamline workflows.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of sales trends, lead times, and stock levels to identify inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaboration with Senior Stakeholders: Work closely with management, merchandising teams, and logistics partners to ensure supply chain effectiveness and address high-level issues.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to improve lead times, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior replenishment analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with other departments, including finance, supply chain, and merchandising teams, to support business objectives and address supply chain challenges
  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree, in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or replenishment analysis.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and drive decision-making.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel, ERP systems (e.g., JDA/AS400), and data analysis tools (e.g., PowerBI or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders and present data-driven insights.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills with experience guiding junior team members.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive mindset for identifying and addressing operational issues.
  • Previous experience in retail or distribution environments is a plus.
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles and advanced inventory optimization techniques.
