Adamas Building Services is a specialty company providing property managers with White Glove Services for all your property needs 24/7. With a full complement of services for residential and commercial luxury properties, you can count on Adamas to exceed your expectations.

Adamas Building Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee the purchasing, tracking, storage, and distribution of maintenance, janitorial, and operational supplies. This role is critical to ensuring our field teams have the materials they need while maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring daily product usage, and controlling operational costs.

Location: Fort Lee, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $22.00/hour

Essential Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory levels for all maintenance, janitorial, housekeeping, and operational supplies.
  • Order supplies and equipment from approved vendors while maintaining appropriate stock levels and budget guidelines.
  • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments, verifying quantities and ensuring products are accurately entered into inventory.
  • Track all inventory issued to employees and properties on a daily basis, maintaining accurate records of products coming in and out of inventory.
  • Monitor daily supply usage and consumption trends to identify shortages, overuse, waste, or discrepancies.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain inventory logs, purchase records, and usage reports for management review.
  • Distribute supplies, tools, uniforms, and equipment to field employees while documenting all inventory transactions.
  • Work closely with Operations Managers and Property Managers to forecast inventory needs and ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective purchasing.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure inventory storage area that complies with company safety standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory controls, reduce waste, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Assist management with special projects and other operational requests as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in inventory management, purchasing, warehouse operations, or facilities management preferred.
  • Experience managing maintenance or janitorial inventory is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures and inventory tracking systems.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to identify inventory discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move inventory throughout the facility.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
