We are seeking an Inventory Analyst for our Wesanco ZSI (part of ITG) Office in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Summary:

Responsible for managing inventory accuracy, reconciliation, and supply chain coordination between plant locations and distribution centers. This role ensures timely and accurate inventory reporting, identifies discrepancies, performs root cause analysis, and supports continuous improvement in inventory control processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Control & Cycle Counting:

  • Coordinate and reconcile weekly cycle counts for remote locations.
  • Investigate inventory variances and perform root cause analysis in collaboration with distribution centers.
  • Enter inventory adjustments as needed to maintain ERP system accuracy.

Transit & Transfer Management:

  • Monitor shipments to distribution centers and ensure timely receipt.
  • Process inventory receipts accurately and efficiently.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies through cross-functional communication.
  • Track and resolve aged or delayed shipments.

Inventory Reconciliation:

  • Perform regular inventory discrepancy identification for distribution centers that utilize third-party ERP.
  • Reconcile, root cause and report discrepancies.

Distribution Center (DC) Partnership & Issue Resolution:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inventory-related issues with distribution centers.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including adjustments and documentation.
  • Identify and communicate discrepancies in stock parameters as required to optimally support customer order demand and fulfillment.
  • Coordinate and communicate nonconforming material (NCM) issues with Quality and manufacturing plants.

Inventory Accuracy & Compliance

  • Support annual physical inventory counts and audits.
  • Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy and data integrity across systems.
  • Ensure adherence to company inventory control policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Manufacturing is preferred.
  • Experience in inventory management, supply chain, or logistics operations.
  • Strong data validation and auditing skills to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to use formulas and functions such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, and pivot tables.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
