JOB PURPOSE:

The Supply Inventory Coordinator and Client Driver will be responsible for managing shelter inventory and supplies, ensuring they are well-stocked and organized. Additionally, this role includes safely driving shelter clients to scheduled appointments. This position combines inventory management with direct client support through transportation services, requiring someone who is organized, dependable, and compassionate.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Keep track of shelter supplies such as food, hygiene items, clothing, and cleaning products.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and restock items as needed to meet shelter and client needs.
  • Place orders for additional supplies, coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
  • Receive and check all shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality before storing items.
  • Maintain organized records of supplies in the shelter's inventory system.
  • Drive clients to and from their appointments safely, ensuring a supportive and respectful environment.
  • Communicate with shelter staff regarding any special supply needs or transportation schedules.
  • Assist shelter staff with general tasks as needed to support smooth shelter operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in supply management, inventory control, driving or related roles.

ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion.

LICENSES: Driver's License with clear record.

VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.

OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates.
