Job Title: Inventory Management Support D

Job Code: 34646

Job Location: Westminster, CO

Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked - and have every other Friday off

 

Job Description:

  • Responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
  • Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.
  • Holds ability to handle items (up to 45 lbs.) utilizing proper lifting techniques and material handling aids (e.g. pallet jacks, height adjustable carts, etc.) and may operate a forklift upon receipt of internal certification.
  • Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
  • Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
  • Knowledge of safe material handling practices and ability to maintain compliance with Harris specific Environment Health and Safety policy/procedure in regards to material handling.

Qualifications: 

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
  • Ability to obtain US Government security clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience working in a warehouse and/or production environment
  • Holds active CDL Class A/B license with Hazmat experience.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Forklift Experience
  • Familiar with MS Office applications, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy
  • Experience with MRP and Agile/PDM software tools
  • Organizational skills
  • Experience with DOD property accountability
  • Holds active CDL Class A/B license

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $21.39/hr- $39.66/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
