This position requires a high level of detail and strong record-keeping skills, and works with a good degree of independence day to day, while checking in with management on decisions of larger consequence (e.g., changing vendors, finalizing the production schedule). The goal is to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand and business needs. This position is required to be on-site at our Saint Clair location, with regular travel to the 26th St. location.

  • Work with vendors to stay current on challenges with lead times and short supplies
  • Source potential new vendors for existing supplies to address supply chain shortages and rising prices, for management's review
  • Purchase raw materials and place Purchase Orders to replenish inventory and other items as needed

Inventory Management
  • Manage, track, and maintain all inventory, packaging, and facility supplies across both locations
  • Receive all inventory into the system as it is delivered

  • Conduct cycle counts per the schedule developed with accounting to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Work with Manufacturing and Chemists to stay current on BOMs and formulas
  • Update the ERP system to reflect any changes
  • Analyze inventory and purchasing reports and share findings with upper management
  • Monitor demand and analyze data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs

Production Scheduling
  • Propose the production schedule based on order volume, customer ship dates, and seasonality
  • Review proposed schedule with the General Manager and obtain approval before it moves forward
  • Communicate the approved shipping/production schedule to FDI Manufacturing and post it as developed

  • Handle logistics for Franchisee orders of Resin, FAC, and parts
  • Maintain the e-commerce site with integration to the ERP system
  • Receive orders into the ERP system

  • Serve as liaison to shippers, manufacturers, suppliers, and customers
  • Travel between the St. Clair and 26th St. facilities at least weekly using personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed per company policy)

Office Coordination
  • Coordinate and manage several operational apps, including the e-commerce site and Sierra gate control access
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
