Job description

Job Store Staffing is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for accurately moving and preparing raw materials, supporting production needs, maintaining proper material identification and drying practices, and keeping inventory records accurate.

Pay/ Hours

  • 1st

    shift Monday – Friday 7am – 330pm or

  • 2nd

    shift Monday – Friday 3pm – 1130pm or

  • 3rd

    shift Monday – Friday 11pm – 730am

  • $20 – 23/ hour depending on shift

What You'll Do as a Material Handler

  • Clean and maintain dryers, hoses, hoppers, barrels, and other material-handling equipment to prevent contamination.
  • Verify that materials, containers, barrels, and hoppers are properly identified and labeled before use.
  • Maintain dryer temperatures and settings according to approved setup guidelines and accurately complete required documentation.
  • Stage, issue, move, and return resin, colorant, regrind, packaging, and other production materials according to work-order requirements.
  • Complete material-issuance sheets, scanner transactions, and ERP entries as materials are used or moved.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and material-issuance records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventory.
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, dryers, loaders, and other material-handling equipment when trained and authorized.
  • Keep material-storage, drying, staging, and production-support areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Report damaged, unsafe, or malfunctioning equipment and notify the appropriate supervisor or Maintenance.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Four years of material-handling, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Previous forklift experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand labels, work orders, safety instructions, and production documentation.
  • Basic computer and scanner skills; ERP or inventory-system experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
