Position: Cycle Count Specialist
Location: Rincon, GA
Job Type: Full-time, Non-exempt, 100% On-site
Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
Hours: M-F, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Eastern Time

Job Description
The Cycle Count Specialist monitors warehouse inventory (parts and machines) and performs cycle counts to ensure all materials are properly verified and that reported inventory reflects actual inventory. As a new addition to the Parts team and reporting to the Inventory Team Lead, the Cycle Count Specialist will maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting. This role also ensures compliance with company policies and keeps operations running smoothly. The Cycle Count Specialist is considered a safety-sensitive position.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain inventory accuracy for machines and parts via daily cycle counts.
  • Locate parts that have been improperly inventoried; determine the cause of the discrepancy if possible.
  • Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products.
All of this is always carried out in accordance with our company's quality, environmental, and health policies.
Qualifications
  • 2 years of prior experience with parts cycle counts required
  • Active forklift and order picker training required, along with proven experience operating both in a warehouse environment within the past 1-2 years; reach truck experience is preferred
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in completing work, carefully reviewing information, identifying errors, and ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proven experience with a parts WMS
  • Must be able to work in a team as well as independently
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift, push, and/or pull objects up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks safely as required.
  • Must be okay with working in small, confined spaces.
  • Ability to climb up, under, around, and over large equipment, and work at heights of up to 30 feet.
  • A current, valid driver's license and insurable driving record are required

The essential functions of this position include the operation of heavy machinery, construction equipment, powered industrial trucks (including forklifts), or the supervision of employees performing such duties. Performance of these duties while impaired could present a substantial risk of serious injury to the employee or others.
As a result, this position is subject to pre-employment and other drug testing requirements consistent with Company policy and applicable state and federal law.
