Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintains inventory of materials, parts, tools and supplies for the Plant Board.
2. Receives material: Unloading trucks with forklifts, pallet jacks or by hand. Verifying contents against packing lists.
3. Enters receipt in FPB financial/inventory system using both barcode devices and desk top computers. Confirms accuracy of Purchase Order, packing list and printed receiving report. Scans documents. Forwards for processing by Accounts Payable.
4. Stores inventory, tracking location by entering data with barcode devices or desk top computers utilizing a locator application in FPB's financial/inventory system.
5. Issues material from inventory to FPB departments when charge-out requests are submitted. The material is pulled from warehouse and outside storage locations.
6. Assigns material utilizing FPB financial/ inventory system using barcode device or desktop CPU tracking inventory levels and charging to appropriate Work Orders and System Accounts.
7. Prepares material shipment with proper packaging. Completes shipping forms and Bills of Lading. Maintains shipping records. Loads shipment if needed.
8. Delivers material to job sites when requested.
9. Participates in annual physical inventory. Includes pre-inventory organizing, count checks and actual inventory counting.
10. Delivers in-house mail to most FPB facilities.
11. Maintains clean and safe work area.
12. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
