Job Overview

This position's key functions include stocking, cycle counts, and storing product as required.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

  • Store and stock products using the FIFO/FEFO methods.
  • Supporting shipping prep and loading.
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory accuracy checks.
  • Investigate inventory variances.
  • Label received product for inventory purposes.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • All other duties as deemed appropriate to the position.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read and understand written and verbal job instructions and procedures.
  • Written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze inventory discrepancies quickly and accurately.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Use of Computer, Hand-Held Scanner, Manual and Electric Pallet Jack, Tape Machine, Tape Gun, Razor Knife, Automatic Banding Machine, L-Bar, Scale. 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Availability for overtime and weekend work when needed.
  • Sit down forklift, stand up forklift, pallet rider and Turret stock picker certifications must be obtained within the first 6 months.
  • MHE license or ability to obtain one.

Quality Requirements:  

Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

  • Ensure compliance to all FDA and Worldwide Quality & Compliance regulations (As applicable to the job function).
  • Must have the education and experience to understand and comply with U.S. and Worldwide medical device regulations (As applicable to your job function).
  • Attend all required Quality & Compliance training at the specified interval.
  • Adopt the "Beyond Compliance Quality Culture" in the work environment; always meet and exceed requirements.

Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions: 

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently, and over 50 lbs. with assisted lift. (not having any weight restrictions)
  • Safe handling of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals for distribution.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Work in Hot or Cold environment depending on the season.
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry and walk throughout the warehouse.
