Job description

Material Handler II

We are seeking a Material Handler II for an on-site position in Woodridge, Illinois. This full-time role supports daily warehouse operations in a structured, fast-paced environment with a Monday through Friday schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The position involves handling materials, supporting inventory accuracy, and operating a sit-down forklift as part of routine warehouse activity. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience, a graduation-level education, and strong familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory control, and safety compliance. This role requires consistent teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established procedures while maintaining a safe and organized work area. Candidates should also be comfortable using an RF scanner and communicating effectively in English.

What You Will Do?

  • Move, organize, and stage materials throughout the warehouse using safe handling procedures.

  • Operate a sit-down forklift to support loading, unloading, and internal material movement.

  • Assist with inventory control tasks to help maintain accurate stock records and product locations.

  • Use an RF scanner to track materials and complete warehouse transactions accurately.

  • Follow safety compliance requirements and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

  • Support warehouse operations by working collaboratively with team members and supervisors.

Your Skills

  • Experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse or material handling environment.

  • Knowledge of material handling practices used in daily warehouse operations.

  • Familiarity with inventory control processes and record accuracy expectations.

  • Understanding of safety compliance standards in an on-site warehouse setting.

  • Ability to use an RF scanner for scanning, tracking, and verifying materials.

  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English.

Pay Details: $21.30 per hour
