Job Description

Scope of Work:         Work for the Business Operations team under the IT Project Management Office (PMO) to provide data analysis related services for the Exchange.         Integrate, work with, pilot, and implement solutions across various technologies, databases, and data structures.         Communicate with MHBE IT team, business team, vendor team and other stakeholders to translate business needs into data sets and solutions.         Coordinate with technical and operational teams to prepare and integrate multiple data sets in various formats to provide insight into Exchange operations.         Lead data warehousing efforts and performing data analysis as needed across sets of transactional, operational, device, and various other data sources.         Coordinate with the development team, business operations team and the testing team to analyze, fix, test and pull data sets as needed to address operational needs.         Analyze processes, associated data sources and data to provide contextual understanding of business goals, inputs, and outputs. Using this understanding, develop process intelligence, transactional, and business intelligence solutions         Additional duties may include business process development, EDI error analysis, solution architecture, statistical analysis, dashboard development, query analysis, troubleshooting, data architecture, and documentation. 

Qualifications

Required:         Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Information Systems, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent.         A minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience in data analysis and business intelligence.         A minimum of four (4) years of experience in developing and working with Advanced SQL, ETL and Data Warehousing.         Experience in developing of data visualizations.         Basic experience in programming (R, Python, Java, Javascript, etc.)         Experience working with, preparing, and integrating various types of data structures - flat, relational, hierarchical, graph, etc.         Strong knowledge and experience with data warehousing concepts, including data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT, reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures, data modeling, and performance tuning.         Experience leveraging and orchestrating the collection and functional integration/manipulation of data with various application programming interfaces (APIs).         Experience with establishing and maintaining reporting databases, data warehouses, and analysis systems.         Knowledge of Business Process Modeling Notation and Business Process Management techniques.         Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams. Desired:         Healthcare background and/or experience working with and analyzing timestamped transactional data.         Knowledge and/or experience working with IBM Informatica, Talend, AbInitio, Pentaho and/or other model driven application development platforms.         Knowledge and/or experience working with Big Data (Hadoop, etc.) and non-traditional data management and analysis.         Knowledge of Data Science Concepts         Knowledge and/or experience with Machine Learning Algorithms and Analysis.         Knowledge and/or experience with Data Visualization and tools (Tableau, Google Data Studio).         Knowledge and/or experience working with Hive and the Hadoop ecosystem         Experience in quality assurance and quality control of a large-scale Healthcare System.         Knowledge and/or experience implementing and working with the Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBOK).         Experience working with PMO processes, policies and procedures.
