Job description

QC Lab Data Analyst
Location: Piscataway, NJ
Pay Range: $26-$32 per hour DOE
Schedule: Mon-Fri on site 8AM - 5PM
Leading flavor/fragrance manufacturer located in Piscataway, NJ is in need of a QC Lab Data Analyst to join the team.
This individual will support the Quality Control team by reviewing, interpreting, and maintaining raw material specification data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with global and local requirements. This role analyzes supplier-provided documentation for flavor, fragrance, and cosmetic raw materials, enters and manages data in internal system, and helps support internal and external customer requests through clear and accurate data interpretation.
Duties:
  • Review, interpret, and enter raw material specification data into internal systems accurately and efficiently, including key quality attributes such as color, form, specific gravity, refractive index, and density.
  • Analyze supplier-provided technical documentation, including Technical Data Sheets and Certificates of Analysis, to extract and validate relevant Quality Control information.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date raw material data to support compliance, traceability, and operational efficiency.
  • Support internal and external customer requests by providing clear, accurate, and timely interpretation of raw material quality data and documentation.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, affiliates, and cross-functional teams to obtain, clarify, and reconcile raw material information as needed.
  • Identify data discrepancies or missing information and escalate issues appropriately to ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or associate degree in Chemistry with related industry experience.
