Job description

Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person, the Inventory Control Associate II is responsible for ensuring that inventory is properly accounted for with the distribution area. This position is responsible for adhering to the safety guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect.
1st Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm
Responsibilities:
  • Resolution of lost pallets and tracking the history
  • Retagging and/or archiving pallet tickets
  • Conducting daily/weekly cycle counts to a regimented schedule
  • Perform physical inventory controls
  • Create daily pallet reports and exception reports
  • Conduct investigations of inventory loss when necessary
  • Trace inventory for recall when necessary

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years inventory counting experience in a warehouse environment
  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
  • MHE certification (cherry picker, hi lo, rider jack) experience required
  • WMS experience preferred
  • Flexibility for overtime when needed
  • Must be able to read/write English
  • Ability to work autonomously and use resources available to complete tasks timely
  • Must be comfortable with working with heights
  • Some Excel and Outlook experience required
  • Must be an accurate counter
  • Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish, and shellfish).
  • Ability to work in a physically challenging environment, including bending, twisting, and standing for up to 8 hours
