Title: Inventory Control Associate- Quoting/Sourcing

Reports to: Quoting and Sourcing-Supervisor

Summary:

An inventory control associate plays a significant role in daily operations through all phases of the quoting cycle. This position’s responsibility is to process all branch locations quote requests to meet the needs of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the program manager in all phases of quote cycle
  • Obtain and input data in AccuTerm
  • Type and prepare formal quotes
  • Ongoing training to improve ability to manage quotes
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

· Excellent organizational and time management skills as well as flexibility and the ability to prioritize tasks

· Proficient with Microsoft office, including skills with Outlook, and Word knowledge of Excel data entry, formulas, and V-look up

· Strong problem solving and negotiation skills in addition to strong oral and written communication skills

· Ability to work independently and in a team

· Demonstrated ability to communicate and train effectively

Education, Experience, Licenses, and Certifications:

  • Associate degree preferred
