Job Description:

What will you work on?

The successful incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the organization's inventory, ordering, and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all procurements for the Deans Rhode Distribution Center.

This opportunity will be onsite 5 days per week

How will you create impact?

  • Maintains consistent stock of inventory, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limit as inventory dwindles.

  • Conducts cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory counts.

  • Establishes and maintains backup source for high demand items.

  • Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery.

  • Manages and maintains inventory database under the direction of the General Manager.

  • Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.

  • Assists with periodic physical inventory audits.

  • Operates as an Equipment Operator (forklift, electric pallet jack, etc.) when necessary.

  • Performs other related duties as requested.

  • Adjust inventory levels in WMS (warehouse management system)

  • Assist Department Managers as needed.

What are your skills and experience?

  • High School Degree or GED is required

  • Manhattan Associates a plus

  • Basic math skills are required.

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and productive environment.

  • Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.

  • Proficient keyboarding skills.

  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds at times.

  • Ability to carry materials, stoop, kneel, and bend at waist.

  • Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed.

  • Previous distribution center experience is preferred.

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in California is $16.90 to $18 Per Hour. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
