Description
Our Client, a leader in Building Automation Controls Systems is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate. This full-time, onsite opportunity is ideal for a dependable and self-motivated warehouse professional who enjoys working independently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with shipping and receiving, inventory management, and warehouse operations while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. This role pays $22 per hour, and is located in Menomonee Falls, WI. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect deliveries and put away materials
  • Package small parcel / palletize freight shipments and schedule shipments with freight vendors
  • Package, palletize, and schedule small parcel and freight shipments with vendors
  • Use material handling equipment to pull, move, and organize project materials to support production
  • Assist with managing inventory by storing, organizing, and tracking materials and conducting cycle counts
  • Use various software programs to track project information and maintain shipping and inventory databases
  • Assist with purchasing warehouse and project related materials
  • Assemble small kits as needed
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized work environment
  • Communicate effectively with supervisor and other team members
  • Follow all safety procedures
  • Dependable, trustworthy, and able to work independently in a warehouse environment
Must Have Qualifications:
  • High school diploma; associate degree or equivalent experience specific to role preferred
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment such as fork truck, pallet jack, etc
  • Sufficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Google drive, UPS Worldship, and inventory management systems preferred
  • Knowledge of international shipping terms and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of arithmetic and algebra
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and understand related terminology preferred but not necessary
Nice to Have Qualifications:
  • Experience with MRP or ERP inventory systems
  • Previous manufacturing or production support experience
  • Forklift certification or previous stand-up forklift experience
  • Experience supporting inventory control, material staging, and production operations
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and understand related terminology preferred but not necessary
