The Inventory Control Associate will be responsible for working collaboratively with the Supply Chain Manager, Lab Manager, Accounting, Shipping, and other departmental
cross-functional teams to support inventory cycle counts, management, ordering, receiving, maintaining documentation, and maintaining stock levels for commercial products, chemicals, and other supplies needed for the pharmacy. This position will also assist with material destruction for the pharmacy. All tasks and duties must be completed in accordance and compliance with HIPAA guidelines, State and Federal laws, and current company policies and procedures.
Reporting Structure
This position reports to
the Supply Chain Manager.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in monitoring and managing material inventory in support of activities in the laboratory and pharmacy.
  • Perform cycle counts, manage inventory tracking systems, and regular reporting
    to facilitate
    appropriate planning for procurement activities.
  • Assist in analyzing the pharmacy's demand requirements to determine
    an appropriate safety stock for standard items.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with suppliers.
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse personnel to coordinate receipt of materials,
    manage multiple inventory locations, and distribute to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory life cycle management by utilizing FEFO/FIFO methodology.
  • Assist in coordination of bulk chemical, pharmaceutical waste, and hazardous waste destruction activities.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma required
  • >2 years of supply chain, warehouse, or inventory management
    is desired.
  • Skill/experience in Microsoft Office: Word and Excel.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
