Warehouse Permanent Plant Requisitioner (Data Steward)

Location: Eunice, NM
Work Location: Onsite

ASAP is hiring on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Permanent Plant Requisitioner (Data Steward) in Eunice, New Mexico.
The Warehouse Permanent Plant Requisitioner will serve as the Warehouse Data Steward responsible for validating, creating, and maintaining new Material Master Records (MMRs) and Material Master Numbers (MMNs) in SAP. This position requires demonstrated SAP Material Master creation experience and a strong background in warehouse operations, inventory control, SAP MM, master data administration, or a regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review Material Master creation requests for completeness and accuracy.
  • Validate required documentation and approval requirements.
  • Research SAP to identify existing materials and prevent duplicate Material Master Numbers (MMNs).
  • Create Material Master Records (MMRs) and Material Master Numbers (MMNs) in SAP.
  • Populate and maintain material descriptions, quality data, MRP data, storage requirements, manufacturer data, and valuation information.
  • Manage approval routing and PAN workflow.
  • Attach required supporting documentation in SAP.
  • Notify appropriate stakeholders following MMN creation.
  • Ensure Material Master information is complete and accurately maintained within SAP.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, SAP MM, inventory control, master data administration, or a regulated industry.
  • Qualified Permanent Plant Requisitioner.
  • Demonstrated hands-on SAP Material Master creation experience.

Preferred Experience:
  • 5+ years of warehouse operations experience.
  • 5+ years of inventory control experience.
  • 5+ years of master data administration experience.
