Job Description

BCforward is seeking a Site Inventory/Supply Chain Associate to join our onsite team supporting Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The role shall manage inventory accuracy, coordinate material movements, and support order fulfillment and asset tracking across secured storage locations. The position requires local, full-time onsite presence in Oak Ridge, TN.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform inventory counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for per policy.
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Investigate and correct discrepancies in quantities and locations.
  • Assess inventory output daily, weekly, and monthly to identify productivity trends.
  • Manage cycle counts of product inventories on a regular cadence.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and customer orders.
  • Place and receive orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Verify shipments to ensure delivered items and quantities match documentation.
  • Log claims or cases for delivery discrepancies using the appropriate tool.
  • Track swaps of installed equipment or components, capturing old and new serial numbers and inventory impacts in asset tools.
  • Maintain inventory in local secure storage facilities per organizational guidelines.
  • File claims for defective products and coordinate returns or replacements.
  • Coordinate with customer service and logistics teams to resolve issues.
  • Check date-sensitive products for expiration and manage removal or transfer as needed.
  • Build trusted relationships with partners and suppliers to ensure quality service and cost-effective outcomes.

Job-Specific Responsibilities:

  • Provide weekly reporting of on-hand, consumed, and defective material.
  • Maintain segregation of HPE versus non-HPE material.
  • Learn and use HPE Pointnext Supply Chain tools and processes, including Konnect, SFDC, SharePoint, and SmartStores.
  • Open and manage cases to enable proper management and ordering of material.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain or inventory roles, with high-volume, multi-part management.
  • Proficiency with administrative and inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of initiative and independence.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with HPE Pointnext tools such as Konnect, SFDC, SharePoint, and SmartStores.
  • Experience supporting government or research environments.

Work Location & Schedule:

  • Customer Site: Oak Ridge National Laboratory, 1 Bethel Valley Road, Oak Ridge, TN 37830.
  • Onsite required. Standard shift 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
