Job description

Warehouse Associate - HVAC Products

Carrier Enterprise, a leading national distributor of residential and light commercial HVAC products, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate. Join a team that excels in providing top-notch HVAC/R products, parts, and supplies through licensed HVAC/R dealers and contractors.

As a Warehouse Associate at Carrier Enterprise, you will manage daily warehouse operations, including picking and verifying orders, loading and unloading products, and maintaining inventory control using advanced warehouse technology. You will play a key role in ensuring the timely and efficient distribution of HVAC products. This position is eligible for performance-based bonuses and incentives.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive and document merchandise for delivery or return.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all products entering or exiting the warehouse.
  • Uphold Environmental Health and Safety standards.
  • Scan products to ensure accurate and timely shipping.
  • Collaborate with internal customers (Store Associates and Sales Managers) for product delivery.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to external customers (mechanical contractors, dealers, owners).
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the HVAC or similar distribution industry.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal (team-building) skills.
  • Strong commitment to customer service and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the HVAC industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in PC skills and experience with inventory and shipping/receiving systems.
  • Current Forklift certification is preferred.
