AG Supermarkets, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Associated Grocers of New England, Inc., operates supermarkets in New Hampshire and Vermont. Customers shopping these stores find the most personalized, friendly service with the highest quality food products. We are currently looking for a Deli Manager to join our Woodstock, VT. store, with an understanding of deli procedures merchandising, cleanliness, and safety. This is a high demand position in charge of Deli department and a required understanding of Deli and merchandising.

Deli Manager – Lead, Create & Grow a HighPerforming Department

Join our team as a Deli Manager and take ownership of one of the most customerfocused, fastpaced departments in our store. We’re looking for a handson leader who is passionate about food, people, and results—and who takes pride in running a clean, organized, and profitable operation.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys leading a team, preparing highquality foods, managing inventory and margins, and delivering an outstanding customer experience every day.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the daytoday operations of the deli department, including hot foods, prepared items, displays, and merchandising
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and develop deli associates—building a positive, accountable team culture
  • Manage inventory, ordering, pricing, and shrink to meet or exceed profit goals
  • Ensure food safety, sanitation, labeling, temperature control, and regulatory compliance at all times
  • Oversee product rotation, receiving, storage, and display standards
  • Prepare and oversee preparation of hot and cold deli items using fryers, ovens, slicers, and other equipment
  • Monitor equipment performance and promptly address maintenance or safety issues
  • Conduct monthly inventories and support accurate reporting
  • Stay aware of market trends and competitor offerings to drive continuous improvement
