Job description

Donovan Marine is a wholesale distribution company providing boating product retailers with the highest level of total service, on time delivery, and industry-leading customer service. We supply the Marine Boating aftermarket with over 60,000 SKUs from a 100,000 sq ft office and warehouse located in Grimes, IA. We’re looking for people to join our warehouse team!

Our Grimes IA location is seeking dependable, efficient, detail-oriented warehouse team members. Warehouse associates are cross-trained and valued in order picking, order shipping, merchandise receiving and inventory control functions. Our warehouse utilizes a state-of-the-art paperless warehouse management system that guides and directs warehouse processes.

Areas of assignment:

  • Order picking
  • Order packing
  • Product receiving
  • Inventory production
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be accurate, hardworking, and dependable
  • Comfortable working with computerized systems
  • Ability to work well in a busy fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to stand and or walk for the duration of the scheduled shift
  • Ability to work mandatory overtime to support the cyclical nature of the business
  • Ability to squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, push and pull on a frequent basis
  • Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 30 lbs. frequently, up to 50 lbs. occasionally and over 50 lbs. with a two-person lift

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
