We have an immediate career opportunity for a qualifiedInventory Control Agent. As anInventory Control Agent, you will electronically research held shipments in the bonded cages across the US, you will also be asked to examine various documents including invoices, bills of lading, and shipping statements to obtain release of incoming freight and resolve delays.ย 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research shipment status - across all US DHL Hubs and Gateways
  • Respond to shipment-related emails
  • Track deliveries and resolve shipping inquiries
  • Communicate shipment updates to customers and vendors
  • Processes requests for extensions, expiration, cancellation needed
  • Communicates with cross functional teams to ensure shipments are resolved
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, and possess time management skills
  • Process shipments through various DHL systems (DCE, USE, Sherloc, HMS, ACA, ECIS, PRIM, as well as other DHL systems)

Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Associate degree preferred)
  • 1 year experience in transportation or customs clearance preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), database and web-based applications
  • Good oral and written communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills
