We are seeking an Inventory Control Associate to join our Finance team in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the role of Inventory Control Associate,you will have the opportunity to:
  • Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
  • Receive and reconcile daily shipments by matching against purchase orders and delivery notifications, ensuring all items are logged, accounted for, and in acceptable condition.
  • Handle and process physical assets including tagging, delivery, and supporting inventory reporting, including special events and gear store returns.
  • Support logistics operations through loading/unloading of trucks and trailers, including floor-loaded items, palletized freight, and shrink-wrapped pallets.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklift, reach forklift, pallet jack) and complete daily documentation and sign-off requirements.
  • Maintain efficient warehouse operations by supporting cycle counts, daily logs, weekend projects (e.g., OCC Seasons), and upholding facility cleanliness and readiness.
  • Other duties as assigned

What are the qualifications?

As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:
  • High school diploma or GED, with at least three (3) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and training; previous forklift experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in warehouse operations; ability to lift up to 30lbs.
  • Accurate in inventory control, receiving, returns processing, and cycle counts
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Outlook for communication and coordinating truck deliveries
  • Self-starter capable of working independently and contributing to team and operational goals
