Job Summary: The Inventory Specialist is responsible for monitoring Warehouse inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified and are reflective of reported inventory. The Inventory Specialist will ensure inventory accuracy by accurately counting materials, processing material reports and transfers, and supporting continuous improvement of inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of inventory to ensure accuracy of stock levels

· Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including root cause analysis

· Reconcile physical counts with system records and make necessary adjustments

· Maintain accurate documentation of inventory transactions and audit trails

· Monitor inventory accuracy metrics and report findings to management

· Collaborate with warehouse, receiving, and shipping teams to correct inventory issues

· Assist in identifying process improvements to reduce inventory errors

· Support physical inventory counts and audits as required

· Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory control procedures

· Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems to track and manage inventory

Qualifications:

Required

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· 2-5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or cycle counting

· Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices

· Experience with WMS or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan) preferred

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis

· Experience in Manufacturing industry

Preferred

· Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in related field.

· Relevant Warehouse experience within the past 5 years.

Skills and Competencies:

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.

· Proficiency with ERP Systems.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Analytical and problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently
  • Must be able to complete various activities in the Warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying parts/components

Schedule:

· Monday- Friday with weekend very likely

· 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm

· 2nd shift 12:30pm- 8:30pm
