Overview

Chadwell Supply is a successful family-owned maintenance supply company with 30 Branches Nationwide. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and detail-minded individual to work as a Chadwell Supply Inventory & Transfer Lead Associate.
The Inventory & Transfer Lead is responsible for performing daily cycle counts of products, processing customer and vendor returns, and preparing for the annual physical inventory count. The supervisor assists in receiving and ensures that all inbound products from vendors and branches are accurately checked and counted against packing slips and receiving documents for quantity and shipment accuracy. The Inventory Control Supervisor ensures that products are correctly stocked and shelved in the proper bin locations and that product bin locations are updated to optimize storage space. Additionally, the supervisor ensures that the quantity in the computer system is accurate. The supervisor may also be tasked with pulling orders, making deliveries, handling local vendor pick-ups, and investigating product quantity discrepancies to determine their causes and make necessary corrections. The Inventory & Transfer Lead also contributes to maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.

What you will need

  • You must be 21 years or older.
  • You must be in good physical condition and capable of lifting in excess of 60 pounds, standing for extended periods of time, able to climb steps and ladders, and capable of bending, stooping, and carrying products up steps, stairs, and down ramps and walkways.
  • You must have previous experience operating warehouse equipment including sit down forklifts, standing forklifts, and standing order selectors.
  • Have previous leadership experience of at least 1 year.
  • Have previous management experience of 4 or more people

How you will make an Impact

  • Supervise associates as they Selects product from warehouse stocking locations to fill pick ticket orders.
  • Maintains company standards for accuracy and promptness in pulling the proper items in the proper quantity.
  • Accurately and legibly records pulled quantities and product serial numbers on pick ticket documents or in related computer programs.
  • Packages and prepares pulled orders in a manner as directed by management, including labeling of packages as to customer name.
  • Assists in staging and loading pulled orders into delivery vehicles.
  • Assists in unloading product from receiving containers as needed.
  • Assists in product stocking and additional warehouse projects as needed.
  • Assist in down-stocking from overstock to ensure that warehouse picking locations are filled to desired levels for order pulling efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure accurate recording of all stocked products by bin location and quantity in the computer system.
  • Perform daily inspection of warehouse aisles and areas, providing written notification of unsafe conditions to the Inventory Control Manager.
  • Perform and complete daily cycle counting, and process customer and vendor returns.
  • Submit all daily cycle count paperwork and communicate specific count or product issues to the Inventory Control Lead via cycle count documents.
  • Record, process, and restock all customer returns delivered by Chadwell Supply drivers
