Responsibilities
Job Summary: A Sales Lead will be responsible for applying advanced skills in procedures and techniques specific to area of specialization. May carry out supervisory responsibilities. Order assigned products to maximize sales. Possess and convey a culinary level of food expertise.
Work under minimal supervision and from detailed verbal and written instructions. Apply accepted guidelines, rules and procedures to decisions. Continually monitor and immediately address problems. Make sound decisions on everyday issues and problems. Requires specific product knowledge depending on the Department.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
Assist in ordering
May assist in writing weekly Department schedule
Identify and address high priority activities first
Communicate clear expectations for assignments
Delegate responsibility to appropriate Partners
Provide excellent customer service
Maintain operating effectiveness
Ensure that all federal, state, and company regulations and standards for product freshness, safety, refrigeration, and sanitation are met
Maintain standards in shrink, safety, and inventory control
Assist in merchandising the department to maximize sales
Use suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales
