Job description

About the Position:

N C Machinery has an immediate opening for an Inventory Control Analyst. 

As the Inventory Analyst, you are responsible for overseeing the operations process of inventory control practices to ensure compliance of the business plan objectives. 

  • This position assumes accountability for data input into our systems and physical counts of inventory. 
  • The Inventory Control Analyst will coordinate with managers to ensure adequate inventory to support parts stocking needs to meet customer demands.
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies, interdepartmental branch inventory transfers as well as any parts record reconciliations.
  • Coding of invoices from suppliers and credits received from vendors.
  • Assisting in relieving inventory via dealer parts inventory sharing or semi-annual returns sanctioned by suppliers.
  • Reviewing KPI’s to assist in planning inventory demand with Product Support Team and Parts Managers in Alaska.
  • Managing multiple business platforms to engage in efficient inventory stocking as well as claims for inaccurate parts received to fulfill metrics measured by suppliers.

Qualifications & Experience Needed:

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail with great analytical insight.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently with precise detail and follow up is critical. 
  • Strong communication and time management skills 
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment 
  • Proficient in Excel and basic computer systems
    • 3 – 5 years of inventory experience
    • Valid driver’s license
    • A bachelor’s degree is also preferred
    • Strong Inventory Control experience in Alaska
    • Strong Supply Chain experience in Alaska
