The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for inventory accuracy for specific customer accounts. They ensure inventory audits are completed, investigates variances, identify root causes for inventory discrepancies, and report findings. Recommends improvements to warehouse processes to prevent inventory loss, improve picking accuracy and increase productivity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for all aspects of the facility inventory management, to include; inventory accuracy, inventory replenishment, and recalls.
  • Manage the replenishment/returns process
  • Execute annual cycle count program in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Perform location assessment and manage direct corrective actions
  • Managing quarantine and product destruction protocols
  • Evaluate flow of inventory from Receiving and Returns while having your direct reports perform audits
  • Managing the system integrity of building locations / inventory
  • Ensure audit compliance is adherence with customer policy.
  • Manage team workload and ensures priority work is completed timely
  • Reinforce consistent operational standards through training and accountability
  • Monitor, analyze and report daily/weekly departmental performance through effective KPI tracking and data collection for respective shift
  • Manage employee attendance and payroll hours
  • Provide daily feedback to employees through coaching and administer performance appraisals
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Provide feedback to the leadership team on the operations and employees
  • Fulfill the duties of a supervisor under the Occupational Health and Safety Act including; safety, violence, and harassment laws
  • Maintain warehouse sanitation practices; clean, organized, and safe environment
  • Demonstrate respect for the Companyโ€™s values daily, maintain and uphold all policies & procedures
  • Assumes additional related responsibilities as required

EXPERIENCE

  • Five (5) years Distribution experience (3PL experience preferred)
  • At least two (2) years supervisory experience, preferably in a 3PL Operations role
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Familiarity with collective bargaining agreements and grievance processes and resolution.

  • Able to create control tools through effective Office 365 software applications knowledge primarily in excel & word.
