Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate, Parts Pricing to support pricing operations for our client located in Fountain Valley CA. In this role, you will help develop and maintain competitive market-based pricing strategies that balance customer value with business profitability. You will conduct pricing analysis, market research, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure accurate and effective pricing decisions.

This position is ideal for someone with experience in automotive parts operations, pricing analysis, or supply chain functions who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and driving business results.

Location: Fountain Valley, CA
Pay Rate: $25.01 - $32.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply and maintain market-based pricing for automotive parts and accessories.

  • Conduct competitive pricing research, OEM benchmarking, and aftermarket analysis.

  • Maintain dealer parts pricing files and ensure timely, accurate pricing updates.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc pricing reports and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Generate and distribute month-end pricing and profitability reports.

  • Support pricing initiatives, promotions, recalls, campaigns, and critical supply part programs.

  • Research and resolve pricing inquiries from field operations, regional teams, and internal stakeholders.

  • Maintain pricing databases and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • Analyze historical sales, profitability, and pricing performance to support business objectives.

  • Partner with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve pricing-related issues.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • 2–4 years of professional experience, including at least 1 year in pricing, analysis, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred
