Position Overview

Buckwild Branding is seeking an experienced and motivated Wholesale Account Manager to develop, manage, and grow wholesale relationships across our portfolio of outdoor, hunting, lifestyle, and apparel brands.


The Wholesale Account Manager will be responsible for generating new wholesale business, maintaining strong relationships with existing dealers and retailers, increasing account revenue, and representing Buckwild Branding and its brands professionally within the marketplace.


This is a sales-focused position, and candidates must have prior sales experience. The ideal candidate is comfortable prospecting for new business, making outbound sales calls, developing long-term customer relationships, presenting products, negotiating orders, following up with accounts, and working toward measurable sales goals.


Buckwild Branding Portfolio

The Wholesale Account Manager will represent and support wholesale growth for the Buckwild Branding portfolio, including:

  • Fieldstone Outdoors
  • Roost Waterfowl
  • Wildgame Collective
  • Old Dixie
  • Caddie


Each brand serves a different segment of the outdoor, hunting, sporting, apparel, and lifestyle market. The Wholesale Account Manager should be able to understand each brand's identity, products, target customer, and sales opportunities in order to appropriately position products with wholesale partners.


Key Responsibilities

Wholesale Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase wholesale revenue across Buckwild Branding's portfolio.
  • Identify and prospect new wholesale accounts, including retailers, outdoor stores, sporting goods businesses, pro shops, specialty boutiques, clubs, resorts, hunting operations, and other appropriate dealers.
  • Conduct outbound sales through phone calls, email, networking, referrals, trade shows, events, and in-person visits.
  • Present products, collections, pricing, and wholesale opportunities to prospective accounts.
  • Convert qualified prospects into active wholesale customers.
  • Meet or exceed established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Identify opportunities to increase average order value and overall account revenue.
  • Cross-sell appropriate products and brands throughout the Buckwild Branding portfolio.


Account Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned wholesale accounts.
  • Build long-term relationships with buyers, dealers, retailers, and business owners.
  • Maintain regular communication with accounts regarding new products, seasonal collections, restocks, promotions, and ordering opportunities.
  • Follow up with existing customers to encourage repeat orders and account growth.
  • Monitor account performance and identify opportunities to expand product placement.
  • Reactivate inactive or underperforming wholesale accounts.
  • Provide professional and timely customer service throughout the sales and ordering process.


Product & Brand Representation

  • Maintain strong knowledge of products, pricing, availability, and brand positioning.
  • Understand the target customer and wholesale opportunity for each Buckwild Branding company.
  • Educate wholesale customers on products and help buyers select merchandise appropriate for their customer base.
  • Communicate new product launches and seasonal merchandise to wholesale partners.
  • Represent Buckwild Branding professionally at trade shows, industry events, meetings, and other sales opportunities.
  • Gather feedback from wholesale customers regarding products, pricing, demand, and market trends.


Sales Tracking & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, active accounts, orders, and follow-up activity.
  • Track wholesale revenue and individual account performance.
  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline from initial prospecting through account opening and repeat purchasing.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
  • Monitor progress toward monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Identify top-performing products, accounts, territories, and potential growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams regarding inventory, product availability, order fulfillment, and upcoming launches.


Required Qualifications

  • Prior sales experience is required.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in sales, B2B, account management, retail sales, outside sales, territory sales, or business development is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop customer relationships and close sales.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and contacting prospective customers.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working toward sales goals and performance expectations.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, leads, orders, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of wholesale pricing, margins, purchase orders, invoicing, and order management.
  • Ability to learn and effectively represent multiple brands and product categories.


Preferred Experience

Experience within one or more of the following industries is preferred:


Wholesale experience with a detailed portfolio.


Sporting goods, apparel, lifestyle brands, golf, e-commerce, specialty retail, wholesale distribution, or consumer products.


Existing relationships with retailers, dealers, sporting goods stores, outdoor businesses, pro shops, boutiques, clubs, or other potential wholesale partners are a plus.
